Online content repositories

The key to making your VLE engaging is to ensure lots of high-quality content. A content repository is simply a location where content items are stored. The content could be in the form of video, text, images, code or data. Much of this content is free to use with your students.

  Khan Academy
  With practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard, Khan Academy allows students to study at their own pace, both in and out of the classroom. For example, this is a course introducing coding with Python.

  LinkedIn Learning
  LinkedIn Learning provides video courses taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. All the courses on LinkedIn fall into four categories: Business, Creative, Technology, and Certifications.
- Select activity Wikipedia
  
  Wikipedia has different priorities than an academic peer-reviewed resource, and therefore it shouldn't be used in place of an academic source. However, Wikipedia can be an excellent resource to introduce a subject.
