Applied Anatomy and Pathophysiology
Task one.
Identify the way(s) people in your service experience the following symptoms:
- Difficulties breathing
- Altered sensation (or awareness)
Add a note to this Padlet for each of the examples you identify. On each post record..what people are experiencing, which body systems are involved and what pathological process (e.g. inflammation) are occurring. You can also offer a diagnosis if you wish.
Then share at least one interesting hyperlink or article about the common patho-anatomical and patho-physiological signs, symptoms and diagnoses you have identified in your service
Task two.
Observe your patients move. Select three activities or exercises you typically undertake with them. E.g. sit to stand, lying - to -sitting, squat.
Identify the key joints about which movement is occurring. Consider which planes and axis about/though which movement is occurring and list the prime movers, antagonists and stabilisers.
For each example, capture these points - written or annotated diagram - and submit to the forum
